The 4 go-to mascaras I swear by (over 40)

The ones I reach for when I want full lashes and no smudging.
I don’t rotate these constantly, they all have a place and it’s literally just dependant on what mood I’m in. I’ve used and repurchased these over again and always reach for one of these when I need something trustworthy (and looks fantastic!)

Tarte XL Tubing Mascara
For effect but also ease.
- Good for: Easy removal – warm water, 30 seconds and wipe away
- Finish: Long extreme lashes. Gives me a false lash feel without the commitment
- Why I keep it: Honestly? I’m all for an easier life. PLUS easier life with no trade offs? SOLD!

Charlotte Tilbury Exaggereyes Volume Mascara
Wonderfully light and fluffy.
- Good for: A light feel on the lashes with ultimate impact
- Finish: Fluffy, flake free volume
- Why I keep it: Easy to apply and not a bit of transferring on my 40+ (extremely) hooded eyes

Lancome Hypnose Mascara
Higher end premium mascara but so worth it.
- Good for: The darkest, stunning lashes
- Finish: Dark, long, thick. What’s not to love
- Why I keep it: This is my longest mascara relationship. I have used it for as long as I can remember, repurchased over again and will continue to do so

Maybelline Sky High Lash Sensational Mascara
Affordable and ticks all the boxes.
- Good for: The longest lashes and usable formula, not too wet, not too dry
- Finish: Long, clump free and stays all day
- Why I keep it: This will forever have a home in my make up bag, it’s easy on the purse and looks incredible

I love all of these in their own right with no real favourite, I just might slightly lean towards a tubing one, simply because I like the fuss free removal on lazier days.
